Often scar stories are a lot less impressive than people think.

So i have been thinking....(due to the long hiatus here, that happens or maybe its the repressive heat and moisture that´s been messing with my brain) :

What kind of "hat people" would Raharr be ?

Bowler....Nah...does have a "clockwork Orange" vibe to it though...

Top hat...No....They seem tall enough. No need to play Abraham Lincoln.

Cap ? Propeller hat ? Ridiculous...Beanie ? Fedora ? Panama ? Dress hat ?

Boss of the Plains ?? Stick ´em a pitchfork in the hand, add a big beard!

Capotain ? Gods no....next up shiny black shoes with gilded buckles.

Capirote ??? I wont even care to think about that one.

Shtreimel? No....just no...Oh no...

Peruvian Alpaca Chullo......Pure stuff of nightmares.

Bicorne ? That could be something for Zane =)

.

.

.

Stetson Western Leather or Felt? ....Hmmm

Yes, I think Gharr would look cool with one actually. Maybe it could create a new Fashion outside Terra....

Any other takers ?

How did you GET that scar? Not "got" that scar, "looking menacing" can be passed off as an artifact of alien to human translation I suppose.

Wait, you're telling me they still use steam even with their future ultra-tech?

Next you'll tell me they still make electricity by making something hot and spinning things with the resulting steam.

Water is actually amazing for heat transfer. It's abundant, has a high heat capacity, is non-toxic and easy to work with. Okay, dry steam can result in some nasty burns, but molten salts would be so much worse...

Actually, those steam-laden pipes were the cruiser's top secret capital gun.

It's hard to camouflage a secret weapon to the point that even your own crew won't notice it.

Well, it's part of a heat transfer system, so that could be high pressure ammonia...

English would more properly be "Looks menacing doesn't it?" I'm assuming that's a translation glitch from Russian.

Yeah, that's the thing. A hero ain't nothing but a sandwich.

Yeah, we quickly forget that many scars result from far more trivial causes than we realize.
