Here we are at the end of the fifth chapter. It is currently the longest chapter of the comic, one and a half times longer than the previous record holder. Whew! If the next chapter is the same length, it will probably be the last. At the very least, the penultimate.
I almost succeeded in my goal of publishing the comic without interruption for a full year, but alas, not this time.
I'm forced to take some time off to prepare material for the next chapter - as well as for the finale of the first volume already. Well, to be honest, also to get a bit of a break from work. The comic will be back for publication in roughly a month, so stay tuned! ^^

Good news... I've added it to my favourites, and wait with anticipation for the next chapters.
Loving the comic, this is come good world building.
And the design for the aliens, three fingers for each hand, but with four arms, that's still a lot of dexterity and I would live to see it used to their advantage. The tail, aquatic ancestors, or an genetic adaption for zero gravity, havingshown them planet-side I'm assuming it's the former.
Just doing it for 6 (or 7) chapters, what you've got going sound like a potential space opera across the galaxy. Hope there is much more to come. (Some like 'The Expanse' books I hope)
Keep up the good work and ignore any impatient readers (they don't create anything)

For sake of clarity, how do "the comic" and "a volume" relate to each other? (Because the upcoming chapter being the completion of "the first volume" seems to be contradicting it finishing "the comic" - at least with the meaning *I* would assign to those terms ...)
The first volume is the comic, so far. I plan to expand it by starting a second volume, that will continue the story, but first I need to finish the first one.
