Latest blog post: Redraw of chapter 1 is happening (2024-05-11)

Author's comment:

Initially, in the Raharrian ancient history, only the members of the military and ruling class had a right to cut their hair. For the commoners it was strictly forbidden to alter the length of their hair. With time that restriction faded into history much like everything else uncivilized, but the tradition of short haircut being distinctive look of those serving in the military had remained. For the same practical reasons it was invented in the first place - so that it would be easier to put on a helmet.

Failed escapes lead to an increased probability of death or unfriendly relationships, so I'd recommend against it unless you've got an ace up your sleeve.

TRIVIA
Azinarsi relationship to death is different from the rest of the civilizations of the Alliance: they do not care about it. Death would mean loss of information and experience gathered by that instance of a person's mind, though, and these two things are about the only valuables for an Uploaded mind, so Azinarsi try to avoid it when possible.
